Our Qualifications
Our President, Joanna Savvides, is a pioneer among women in the field of global business. She has strategically developed international business for clients in several countries around the world. In addition to her strong and proven management, planning and implementation skills, Joanna has conducted business in over 100 countries, speaks six languages and possesses an outstanding and innate cross-cultural rapport.
From 2002 to 2009 Joanna was the president of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP). During her tenure, the economic impact of the WTCGP services on the region resulted in close to $300 million in incremental sales, equating to nearly 3,800 new jobs in the area. More recently she completed a one year strategic busines development project for the World Trade Centers Nest Group, Cyprus, in the Middle East.
Prior to that, Joanna worked for major multinational corporations including IBM, Heinz and Campbell Soup Company where she held a number of managerial positions in the international division.
She has taught Global Business Strategy and International Marketing at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia and has been a regular speaker at seminars and conferences. She also holds numerous board and committee positions both in the US and abroad.
Joanna has received several awards and honors including "Women of Distinction Award", "Global Leadership Award", "Global Business Award", "Cyprus Culture and Heritage Preservation Award", the "Artemis Award" and "Woman of the Year" Award.
